sono io o è un macello?

 

Quest’ oggi mi sono imbattuto in uno scoglio gigantesco … vedere uno dei miei film preferiti, Dracula di Bram Stoker sul lettore multimediale di ubuntu (totem).

In principio mi sono detto “installo il codec e sono a posto“, ma subito dopo aver provato con le librerie Gstreamer mi sono dovuto ricerdere.

Spulciando per il forum di ubuntu sono venuto a sapere dell’esistenza dei codec a me necessari w32codecs e libdvdcss (il primo è illegale negli usa in quanto software chiuso) e una volta inserito il comando per l’installazione,

 

$: sudo apt-get install w32codecs libdvdcss2

mi sono ritrovato svariati messaggi di errore che, in poche parole, mi infomavano dell’irreperibilità dei due pacchetti. Problema facilmente risolvibile (dovevano pur stare da qualche parte) ed ho così inculso fra i miei repository quelli + famosi (universe, multiverse, ecc.)

a quesesto punto è bastato il comando:

$: get-apt update

per aggionrare il database dei repository e ripetere il comando visto in precendeza.

$: sudo apt-get install w32codecs libdvdcss2

Ora, mentre scrivo sto ascoltando in sottofondo il caro conte … “benvenuto in mia casaaaaaaa“
